hey i bought this game about a year ago the 2006 verison of ship sim and i didnt work properly on my computer due to specifications etc, now my computer is much better and i can play it iv realised iv lost the handbook which has the activation code on it!
is there anythink i or any1 else can do to help me get another activation code without going and buying another game?

If you still have your purchase receipt, or some other proof of purchase, you can email Vstep at info@shipsim.com and explain the situation to them

If you have the game currently installed, you can use the file located in the topic below, to recover your licence key:

what if you dont have the game installed on your PC and you lost your CD key...... Because i bought this cope for my birthday about a year ago and i lost the code between now and then.... and i got a PC upgrade to play it but i dont have the CD key handy...... can someone help..??

The only way to receive help if this happens, is to email Vstep at info@shipsim.com. You will need to explain the situation, and you will also need proof of purchase for your game

Ok, because i bought the game from Best buy..... and what would i need to convince them that this is my ligit copy, and thanx for the welcome ^^

ok i see like a recept..... but i have lost that too..... along time ago.... and i messaged them about the CD key, but still havent gotten any replies..... how long do you think it will take to get back to me by any chance carl?

Hi lilb07.

It's a weekend so it is unlikely that you will receive any reply today or tomorrow. After that, I guess you'll have to be patient, as the good folk there are always very busy.

BUt, perhaps you actually do have the key!

If you go to the case that holds your copy of Ship Simulator 2006, it should have the booklet on the inside. Underneath the booklet should be the sticker with the number you need. That label is very firmly attached and is unlikely to have come unstuck. So perhaps you just haven't pulled out the booklet to see it?

ok hello,
on the case that i got with it i dont see any real important stickers on anything..... but the bar code on the bottom, and thats as close as it gets to being a code

not to sure what i got to tell you the truth,....... i just know its 2006 shipsim...... And i got a new CD code from Vstep, i just had to proove that its a bought copy.... srry for the while reply, was offline there for a bit

He didn't reply to DJM's post, and I don't know if he ever contacted Vstep. If he didn't have a receipt for some reason, he might have stopped there.
