What caused it and how do I stop it?

That is usually because of 16 bit color.

I don't have ship sim installed on this computer yet since I am wiping it clean and then using it for tests I am not sure if you can change it. But that is what was causing it in other games.

yes just a little bit so 39 boilers there is allmost no smoke even a steam train makes more with one boiler

i meant 29 sorry had a late and tiering night but still not alot of smoke for all them boilers 600 tones of coal should make alot os smoke

That is correct, yet that is not TTE's fault of course, so he posted in a 2 month old topic, really.

Even so, TTE, if you have nothing to contribute, please try to avoid digging up old topics. Austin allready answered the initial question back then, and so you could have just read about the cause and tried the same thing that Gigantic tried, to fix it. Don't post in a topic if you do not want to read the previous content, please.
