horns i started to use

i was playing virtual sailor and downloaded new horns. i decided to use the in Ship Sim. i went to train-sim.com and downladed horn packs. it's cool. try it ;D (who cares if they sound like trains?)

Virtual Sailor add ons. searching ship horns mp3 on google.com. i did that for the train horns. those who downloaded, did the horn play? i hope so.

This was quite common in the days when railway companies owned ferries and cargo boats but I don't think SS2008 ships come into that category.
I'm not sure what whistle Waverley uses these days but when I first sailed on her she had a North British whistle identical to the locos of that company.

waverleys whistle is her original whistle given to her by the LNER who has her built in 1946...after having only one year with them she was then transfered to british rail...then the caladonian steam packet company...then they were brought together with david macbryane limited to get ... what is known today as CalMac or Caladonian Macbryane

but wasn't that when steam ruled? i use air horns. i never knew i was kind of right. train sounds in ships ;D
