That's not what Hollywood is about..
If they only displayed the historical accurate stuff, then the movie would be 3/4 boring..
That's why they insert a romantic story and polish that up a lot more too, to appeal to more people..
And in that context, it doesn't matter if they walk through several different sections of a ship that they normally might or might not walk through.. That's irrelevant.
The general public does not look at such a movie like that.. What you are doing is similar to a typical guy sitting behind you in the movie theatre watching some outrageous sci-fi movie yelling "oooh! that would never work in real life!!!" Of course not.. it's a movie! It's there to make money, and 99% of that money comes out of the pockets of people that hardly know the real events anyway.
They have their research, cause the producers have the internet too y'know..
But too much reality often makes a movie less interesting, so they cross a few irrelevant boundaries to make it more appealing to the general public. That's pretty much common knowledge, so I wouldn't get worked up about it if I were you.. There has never been a movie made that got it all right.. and there never will.
