Hi Ballast,

Just a thought ..... some of the many "desktops" being displayed may be just pictures off the Net. I am saying this as many have them do not have a SINGLE icon even. It is common to have the icon for IE or FF or Chrome, etc always on your desktop. Your original idea was good but it seems now that people are using it more for displaying pictures that they like !!   :D :D  A good desktop is one where the back ground picture is pleasant / breath taking / out of this world AND also where all the users favorite icons can be seen and accessed with ease.

Updated Background, to reflect the updated livery

i don;t stick icons on my desktop anymore, I just have a few essentials on the toolbar on the bottom (Chrome/Firefox Media Player/SSE etc)

*Just noticed SU isn't on there :O, soon fix that  ;D
