i'm not sure but remember i have read someplace it's take about 240MB to 250 MB

After the full (GM) update, the ShipSim2008 folder will be about 972 MB. Itâ€™s not meaningful to ask how much the add-on itself requires, because it replaces most of 1.3.
The space to hold the initial downloaded update executable is about 200 MB. The update on DVD runs around 800 MB.
