Gmax modelling
« on: March 29, 2008, 23:11:25 »

I thought I should do a Gmax topic where users can learn, from each other. So plzzz everyone use this forum, I have just myself begun using Gmax and I need some getting started help, and I'm sure that someone else who start to use Gmax will need this help too.
I did a search, but I didn't find a topic that fully protected this subject, but if there is one I will remove this topic.

You just make a texture in any program and save it.
Then make a new material and drag the file into the ball on the window.
choose a object and klick on apply.

Then you go to your modifier list and klick on UVWmap.

Just search on google! there are enough tutorials.

Here is my gmax project:

Press print screen and paste it in paint.

You have to paste them into paint or another art program ;)

Or your word processor ;)

I think I'm getting better and better, I have just made a ship hull with texture.
So from now on  I am mostly gonna use Gmax instead of Sketch up

That's expensive, so it will have to wait for a while.
But does anyone know how I can render Gmax and Sketch up with Kerkythea, is it even possible
