As long as the hovercraft does make it in the game, you can guarantee my purchase. For years I've been waiting for a proper hovercraft simulator/game. I was so angry when I found out the LCAC had been cut from BF2 in early development, such a hard craft to code I guess.

I'd be interested to know how you tackled some of the features, like engine controls, model dynamics, maybe parametric animation for the skirt?

Your team must be really skilled to take up the job, so good luck!

There was an LCAC in Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising, and you could carry vehicles on it.  It was released just before BF2 but was overshadowed by that game despite the fact that JointOps had larger maps, more vehicles and more weapons.  There is a preview of the hovercraft in production for SS08 on the Vstep YouTube page.

Oh yeah, I remember Joint Operations! that LCAC couldn't go over land as I remember though, and the handling was really very bad and unrealistic. Besides the fact, the craft was in a permanent hover lol.

I saw the video over at youtube some time ago, thats what brought me here!
A very nice model, unless theres some proper action video somewhere too?
