:)Hello.
I want to ask you something.
I saw some videous and pictures on the internet about big new ships:Ocean Stars, Litle yacht, Big yacht...
like a Add-on for ship simulator 2006 so i want to now is mayby that i can drive and have this ships when i pass the game.Thank you wery much!

are you saying how can you get these ships?

to get the ships you need the SS 2006 addon , once you register the code for that in your profile you should see a new addon and code come up just for you saying this is your new ShipSim 2008 addon , this contains loads more ships like Ocean star (but this is NOT the New Horizon addon)

This addon is called New Horizons. But you can get it before hand for free IF you have the 2006 version and the 2006 addon. if so, do this:

1. register you licence key into your profile. (SS08, SS06, SS06 addon)
2. Below that, an orange box should appear entitling you to download it for free.

Click on one of the links and download

Just to clarify Shipaddicts fine post as there is in fact a difference between the two products. There are two ways of achieving the add-on ships for SS2008.

- you have the SS2006 add-on, register the key in your forum profile and a 'new' SS2008 add-on key and a download link will appear. You will then get 6 new ships: Cruiseliner, Fishing vessel, Classic yacht, Small yacht, General cargo vessel & Russian tug.

- wait a few weeks and purchase the new add-on New Horizon for SS2008. You will then get 8 ships: The 6 ships mentioned above plus a modern harbour tug and a pushboat with barges. You will also get a new scenario.

The modern harbour tug and the pushboat will also become available as separate downloads for those who don't have New Horizon.

If you don't have SS06, i;d wait for new Horizons to be released. You will have to pay, just like people did for the SS06 addon

I would like to offer my opinion for you

New horizons will contain the six ships plus two others. If you pay for them, you won't have to bother paying for SS06 and the SS06 addon.

In other words, wait until 22nd March and you can get the addon. But not for freee.

And i want to ask what happen ewhen i pass the game.I Saw something that some peoples on the internet that cruise on big waves so can i maybe get in big storm biger and biger when i passing the game and can i maybe reward some new ships or cityes and is maybe posibliy to come in croatia.In all what is happen when i pass the game what changes.

Hi Explorer,

Can I just give you small peice of advice please? Try not to post multiple posts right after each other. You can modify your posts to reflect your additons or changes. You can modify posts using the link on the top right of each of your posts.

Also, the New Horizons Add-on is not yet available to buy, and is only on pre-order in online stores and a few retailers I beleive.
