Excuss my ignorence as this is my first post. It says in my manual there is downloads avalible on this forum of new ships etc ..... where should i look for this as i cant find it??

If you look at the patches section on the main website you can find updates for the game, the updates includes 2 ships at the moment. And other game improvements.

At the moment, there are not any new ships. Apart from the add on. Look here;

there are no single ships available, but within the next weeks you can buy a set of new vessels with the add-on New Horizons. Look around here and you'll find more details about them.

There are 2 new ships that you can download, but they are in the updates.. (sorry for correcting you SA :p)

The new ships are the jet ski and a hovercraft.

Hmmm Agent I Austin, have you seen their latest survey? Guess they are still thinking about that and the survey should help to make a decision. But I can hardly believe, that it will be a monthly offer.

You will need to register your license key in your profile, once you've done that login on in the game by clicking 'profile' on the main menu, then login and allow internet conntection or something like that.. and once you've completed amission you should get a mission time uploaded to the server and more rank points (thats what i call them :p) to go to your next rank..

You can use a different computer to login onto the forum and a different computer to log into the actual game....

Also ive noticed your avatar, Do you work in the Royal Navy? (Commander?)

yes i used to .... but i have this thing i started with my late father called the family fleet. All members of our family and close friends have ranks in the royal navy ... as you get older or the longer you been in the fleet you progress in rank ... bit of fun really.
