high quality pictures from sketch up

Hi could anyone tell me how I can get a very good picture of a model I did with sketch up.
It's required that my file 300dpi even if I don't know what that means.

Right, DPI is the (Dots per inch) and relates to the image quality overall. For instance, the image quality needed for the web is 72DPI. Usually 300dpi (and higher) is for print. It's basically a measure of the quality of a given image.

Sorry I'm a little confused as to what you want to do? Do you want to render the image or am I missing something??

You will need a rendering program for that as Sketchup doesn't have that facility. Send the .skt file to me, or export it as an object. I'll see what I can do

Would I get a higher dpi if I would use a better program than paint.
At the moment when I export a picture from sketch up it says that it's 96 dpi, need 300dpi.

For a free program look at paint.net or GIMP.

I have Photoshop CS3 but am not exactly sure what I would do with it for you.
