Always make sure the components are compatible with each other or you will encounter problems. Some can be fixed, unless each products doesn't work with each other.

Also don't forget to type the product name into Google and read a few reviews.

I do recommend building your own computer, as it's cheaper and more likely to work, although if you don't know how a computer works then I suggest you buy a pre-built one. Just please do not go to places like PC World or Curries. Their computers are not very good spec and are not built to run games and the like.

Just a few tips there ;)

LOL - I looked at Dell, wanted an Inspiron but with GeForce card - no can do :( so ended up with a Vostro 400, spent £700 to play a £20 game!!  :D

Then having just moved house spent another small fortune getting wireless n to have the best possible speed to play the game online!!! And now I'll have to spend more money on the add-on!!

It is worth it though!! :D

That's the way we all justify the expense to ourselves isn't it?

I really need this Quad-Core 2.6GHz, 4GB RAM, 2TB HDD, 72 inch LED Monitor with 1000 Watts RMS per channel 5.1 sound system and full swivelling chair with built in controls and ships wheel, so that I can write the odd letter.

Well, that's me, anyway.
