The fishing vessel is actually called "North Star". See pictures above, on the panel across the fore part of the bridge. I don't understand why she is always called by the wrong name. :o >:(

I may be wrong, but I think it had the wrong name (Northern) in the list, in the past. Somehow I always called it Norhern Star aswell..  :P

I think i have an explanation for that one, "northern star" is quite a long name to fit on the front of that isn't it? so they probably put "north star" on it to make it look neater.

Nah.. they could have put a bigger sign on it or used smaller letters..  :P

Somehow I just think that the name "northern star" was used for it somewhere in the past.. otherwise it wouldn't be around that much.  No one calls the OS the Oceanic Star by mistake either. :)

So it must have had the wrong name.. possibly in the vessel list in the game, or in the editor... or something like that. Too many people use it, so it's not coincidence if you ask me.

Regards,
Fred

I say it because it sounds better then north star. Even though I think I saw it somewhere. I will look around. :p

Here's the answer:

it's called Northern Star in the "list"  (so the game name)

But the texture on the ship itself says North Star

I thought I was losing it, hehe..   ;D

I guess thats why. I see it more in that screen select then I do looking at its name in-game. :p

Well you see "North Star" is a specific star, i.e. the pole star, but "Northern Star" could be ANY star in the northern hemisphere. So the difference is very significant. It's OK, I'm just nitpicking aren't I? However I DO like to be careful to get things right. ::)
