Looking forward to the Push boat and will direct my serious hawk sight to the graphical details that this ship model contain. If the graphics is better then everything else previously released then it will probably become my favorite boat no.1 ;)

heheh..

Don't expect to see what you say on the renders.  ;)
Those things never end up in a game like that of course..

But still, it IS indeed very, very nice.. Ah well, you can judge from the screenshots that are floating around allready, but i wouldn't say it's way more detailed than the other Addon vessels. They're all brilliant in their own way. :)

Seagoing tugs

A common characteristic of all tugboats is their low aft deck. This guarantees that the towing line has some freedom of movement. The point of application of the force in the towing line mus be located close to the midship in such way that the force has no influence on the maneuverability.

The towing winch is of great importance because it has to be able to transfer the total force of the propeller to the towing line. Seagoing tugs are used for:

- salvage (what is that?)
- towing
- anchor handling in the offshore industry
- environmental service
- ships with engine trouble

Partly completed ships, floating wrecks, docks, drilling rigs or other large floating objects that have to be relocated can be towed by tugboats...

So what kind of environmental services can we perform in the game with this tug huh? ;)

The real "Bugsier 2" is a multi-purpose tug. Normally they use it in Hamburg for towage, but she leaves her homeport sometimes for salvage jobs along the river Elbe and off the German coast and for long distance towages. Last year she was in St. Petersburg/RUS for such a job and that's the reason, why the tug has a higher forcastle than most of the other harbour tugs to improve her seagoing means. "B2" could be used as anchor handler too, therefor she has a special door at her stern, but as far as I know, they didn't used it until now.

Cheers

I'm voted for Agile solution, the most interesting class of ships IMO. I have the 06 add onfor Shipsim 2008, but the dynamics for Agile solution seems somewhat of for a vessel of this size. It's my hope they will be fixed for the next version.

I have noticed that nobody is interested in the Speed Yacht, "Marbella Delight", i'm not interested in it at all to be honest either.

I haven't seen the tug, so I picked the pushboat. :D

Do ss06 addon users get this one free or do I have to buy it also?

Just type "bugsier" in the search box on Utube and you'll see them. Things like Bugsier 21 and others will be shown to you. One is a joke, but there are some good examples there.
