Not from the very beginning of SS08. The fleet will be completed later, calculate with up to 15 vessels...

I think there should be an editing mode in the new game so you can design ships, there size, width, there looks etc

Why, prey tell, do you not have a look at www.shipsim2008.com and make up your mind if you want to buy it.

Vstep isn't under any obligation to release add ons. It isn't a scam for more money- I've had a go at modelling. Its damned hard work. You won't be FORCED to buy any add ons.

Personally I think the asking price for the basic sim engine is rather good value.

but anyways the add-on will probably be the same money as the 08 game... but the add-on wont run if the game isnt installed... so i think they should make the add-on cheaper ( as in the price)

no im just saying that why would the addon worth as much as the game if it cant run by it self?(without the game)

Simple. They decide how much money they need to make from a product (costs plus profit) and then divide it by the number of expected sales.

Remember that for every 10 sale of the game they may only get 1-3 add on pack sales. (I don't know the sales figures, just an example).

I'm afraid that there are commercial realities behind our little hobby here. I don't think you realise just how much work goes into making a product. Try some 3d modelling for example- they don't just suddenly appear.
