Hi Riddip,

Looks cool to me. Not too much to judge from yet but the little bit of ingame footage and the screenshots look really good.

I like the series a lot, so I'll probably check this one out!

Crab fishing in the Bering Sea - what an originally idea!
The features sound good and the screenies look nice, but I'm sceptical.
Anyhow, I will keep an eye on the project.

Interesting: The page from Riddip's second link classifies the game genre as "Action". $:-\$

I realy realy do. Ive been looking for a good fishing boat/another surface boat simulator to go along with Ship Simulator.

Maybe Lighthouse could grab the Euro publishing rights (as it's probably US only) to this and sell at a slight discount to the thousands of us, Ship sim community members? (and perhaps pay a commission to V-Step in the process)

This game has nothing to do with Shipsim.

And if I understand correctly, the Discovery Channel is behind this too. They would allready have all the European publishing covered.

Well,thats correct Fred,if they sponsor this,they never will have it sold by a discount,specialy not in the beginning.
The same when National Geographic is behind it.Infact if i was a chairman,i would not alow it the first months.

a. good marketing most shipsim users may also be interested in the game .
b. no I know that, but there is a large target market here and Lighthouse could advertise it on the V-Step forum bringing VStep advertising revenue
c. In the past the Discovery Channel have mainly only sold their interactive titles in the US and this may again be the case.
