Hi danny.

Most of the attempts at new sites seem to die fairly quickly. Unless you have acess to something very different to what is alreayd available, what would be the reason for anyone to join in?

As you need help to set it up, you probably won't be able to provide technical support.

As you aren't linked to Vstep, you won't have any new information that isn't available elsewhere.

So, I think the pull of your site wouldn't be very compelling. Sorry to sound so down, but perhaps you can use your time and enthusiasm for something different?

Greetings,
Having another shipsim forum????
Well, the whole net becomes one BIG shipsimforum this way.On the end no one can find his way around.
The projects of the scandinavianforum,i like that, because it's written in their language.May i remind you,we are one of the few multilanguage forum untill now.
So why a new one??Can you provide new/extra info besides this forum??
Questions you realy have to ask to yourself, before making a new one.
Has it an extra value, than this??
I think their is enough on this one.
I also think the info whats here on this forum, cannot be used on others, exept the chatting, but projects and specific info can lead to some copyright problem.
Example:Projects of vessels, which are here on this forum, you can only use if you have permission of the modeller/creator.The same with some pics.
So what would you put on that new forum than??Whats left????
Some of the info you find here is exclusively from Vstep, and controlled by Vstep. That info also you cannot use in some private project/forum.If you create a forum by example in arabic or japanese, maybe you can make arangements with Vstep, because you made something new(language).
Dont get me wrong, having this idea,is showing howmuch you like the game.I realy like new projects.
Regards
Marc

Oh come on.. you allready have 14 members...  If that's not full blast what is?  ;D

j/k  ;)

But errr.. you do now the unwritten universal forum rules right?  You're not allowed to call it a forum if the members/staff quota isn't at least 10/1    ::)

But seriously, it's just really hard to compete with the official forum and the other forums that members here pick as "second port of call" (or first, granted)

Fred

A third port of call is too much for most people I guess.

Hi Danny.

Why not use the time to create new Custom Missions instead? This forum needs high quality missions which consist of more than "Drop moorings, go short distance, do one thing, come back".

Or perhaps there is some other way you can use your creative juices? Suggestions anyone?

Might be good to try your hand at that, danny.. :)
