I've got FSX deluxe with lds763-addon installed, no more needed, at least what I think at this moment.
That lds763 being to be one the most realistic things you can get on any home pc's installed. What Shipsim does compared to that is just shallow scrape: The amount of programming and procedures to make that aircraft to even start up, move and fly to the destination takes huge amount of planning and knowlegde. And clicking awful amount of buttons
I so much agree with you Finn
) i own FS9 and FSX. But i prefer FS9 with great add on scenery, wich runs perfectly smooth on my pc, than FSX where I have to reduce details.
and Lds763 is really fantastic ... Maybe one day in shipsim we'll have ship bridges as detailed as the levelD cockpit
to give an idea for those who don't know it yet :
virtual cockpit (http://www.leveldsim.com/sevensix_ss_vc.asp)
2D cockpit (http://www.leveldsim.com/sevensix_ss_panel.asp)
exterior (http://www.leveldsim.com/sevensix_ss_exterior.asp)
and EVERYTHING actually works in the sim - every button, fuel control, hydraulics, temperature of the cabin .... everything is realistically simulated.
