So what is the award of this competition? A cold medal? Two new pairs of socks? One can of Marmite? A visit to VSTEPs office.. or what? :P

Like DJM said,
This can be a very nice contest, however saying that the best model with come in the game is a bit over the line(accept that Vstep is announce this itself).
The problem is that some members might remind you later of what you have promest.
About the contest, well it's a nice idea itself. This way you can make members very interested in 3-D modelling.

i know we can't expect our models being placed into the game by v-step, but we can always hope on it  ;)

Hi guys,

The best thing to do for a reliable result is just to set a date for the voting. So that would mean having a new poll when that date is reached.

You could work a bit more on the models, other people could still enter their ships. And the poll you have going now is just a temporary picture of things.

Once all entries are in and the date is reached, you let the people vote again, and do not put up any more edits or new ships in, and then you'd know for sure which is the most liked at THAT particular moment.

Just how I see it.

Regards,
Fred
