« on: June 13, 2007, 22:04:23 »

Hiya :)

A little explanation of some forum jargon for some of you ;)

LOL = Laughing Out Loud
ROFL = Rolling On Floor Laughing
IMHO = In My Honest Opinion
OFC = Of Course

There are others too, if anyone would like to add any, please feel free.  Keep to the tasteful ones though please ;)

Regards.

If I may, I think due to so many people communicating in a language other than their first, that abbreviations may cause further confusion.

Nevertheless, I have one that I've used (and edited before YOU did)

WTF?

A couple more, none of which we like to see anyway......but they may come in handy ;)

BSOD = Blue Screen Of Death
CTD = Crash To Desktop

Regards.

DJM.

EDIT: A few more -

l33t = Leet - A derivative of the word Elite - can also be typed as 1337
n00b = Usually a derogatory term for an inexperienced online gamer.  The more pleasant term is newbie.  This seems to be applied to anyone who is new to literally anything online now ::)
PPL = People
BTW = By The Way
IDD = Indeed
