Excellent, I didn't realise that the harbour of Portsmouth would be included alongside Southampton.

The spinnaker tower looks good. The harbour edge looks a little sparse, but recognisable as Pompey. The water interaction with the boats is really really good.

I will resist the temptation to mention again how good the pride of bilbao is and how portsmouth would be lost without her. Oh damn, just did

I personally don't care if it is the wrong sort of ship, I would be more than happy to sail a large ferry from Portsmouth out into the channel.

Plus, one of the add on missions was the Ocean Star leaving Rotterdam (or was it Hamburg) to set sale for Southhampton. When the Ocean Star is finally added to SS08 I hpe we get a mission involving the end of that journey.

Well, the ferry terminal of Portsmouth will not be included to the new environment Solent...

Just Old Portsmouth and the edge of Gosport. The former will be used for the hovercraft some times...

I don't mind, now I can see some damage effects.

Are those just textures or allso damage in the 3d model?

Nice videos.

I'm not one to complain, but Red Jet 4 should be flying a Red Duster (Red Ensign) and not the Union Flag.

Dont worry about the scuff marks, you should see what the real crews have done to her and her sisters sometimes.

I cant wait to try her in her real environment (Southampton and Cowes).

I realize the pushboat won't be out until the September timeframe, but I keep seeing one issue in the screen shots and video that are posted on YouTube. The push "knees" on the pushboat are backwards. The front of the push knees should be completely flat...top to bottom. There is no part of the push knees that overlaps the barges as shown in the video.

I can point you to some photos of Mississippi River pushboats (they call them "Tows" on the Mississippi...even though they push..they don't tow the barges) if you'd like.
