How to pay tribute to victims is a matter of opinion, and I don't quite share yours.
It is not the way you express it that is disturbing, although you don't let much room for others to express a different opinion, it is that you give the impression it would be all right to use the memories of such events without restraint.

You are only partly right, because in my opinion, it is not only remembrance of sad events that counts, it is also that the memory and the dignity of the victims needs to be respected.
The first thing to be addressed is the agreement of survivors and relatives, to the memory of loved ones being used in the way you describe, ie being imitated in a Youtube video or any game. They didn't necessarily want their woe being made public.
For instance, having been involved in accidents where people drowned, I would hate that...
With their permission, of course, there would be no moral obstacle to such a publication.
