Hiya
After a long hard slog on my PC, my Ship Sim 2006 movie is finally complete
For those of you who like the technical side of movie production, here goes:
57 Video Files
3 Screenshots
2 Audio Files
Total Capture Size: 120gb (compressed down to 11.4gb for editing at FULL Quality MPEG 2).
Total Capture Time: 4+ Hours of Ship Simulator Footage.
Total Editing Time: 20+ Hours (this includes compression time).
Packages Used (with links underlined):
DJM/RWP Intro -
Magix: Movies on CD & DVD (http://site.magix.net/english-uk/home/video/movies-on-cd-dvd-6/).
Main Movie & Credits -
Serif: MoviePlus 5 (http://www.serif.com/movieplus/movieplus5/index.asp) + Extra's (
DVD (http://www.serif.com/movieplus/movieplus5/directors-collection.asp) +
Book (http://www.serif.com/movieplus/movieplus5/directors-guide.asp)).
One of the Captures I did, the very first one you see in the main movie (Titanic Side Shot) was exactly 19 seconds and 12 frames long (before editing)........so in my editing package it showed as 19/12, which is kinda spooky lol.
I had some real fun making this one, using up to 4 layers of video on some scenes. I'll let you decide if it's any good
I've only had MoviePlus 5 for a couple of months, I am learning more about the package all the time though
Anyway, enough of my waffling, here it is:

Hope you like it

EDIT: There was a glitch or two in the original movie, so I did a little editing and uploaded the newest one to YouTube - Link already altered
