Hi All,

Does anyone know if there are any Great Lakes freighters or scenario add on/downloads available for Shipsim 2006 ?

I even dough it will for this version,now we have the 2008 version.

The Great Lakes and the vessels (Lakers) are not availeble for download for SS2006.
And they are not availeble for SS2008, however, SS2008 has the possibility to add ships afterwords.

As you, KEB1, i would like to see the Great Lakes and the Lakers in the game as well, but it will take time, i geuss. I think, we will have to wait for a future release of ShipSimulator to get more area's and ships. :)

Too bad there is no plan for a Great Lakes scenerio.  Some of the most challenging shiphandling I have seen  is in the Welland Canal transit between Lake Eire and Lake Ontario, a locking operation that makes the Panama Canal look like child's play.
