SSE possible on Windows 11?

Hi guys, long while no see. Hi Traddles what's up? I have an up to date system with the following specs:

PC: Lenovo Ideapad 3 15IAU7 laptop
CPU: 12th Gen (Alder Lake) Intel Core i3-1215U (6 cores (2P +4E) 8 threads) Processor
GPU: Intel UHD Graphics 12th gen (Xe architecture (64EUs (512 ALUs)) 1GB video memory
RAM: 12GB (8GB soldered + 4GB DDR4 So-DIMM Dual channel RAM)
HDD: 256GB SSD
OS: Windows 11 Home

And i'm studying to put back SSE on it but would it be supported on W11 or i would have to run it in compatibility mode (down to Windows 8 )? If this topic was bought up already, please provide the link, thanks.

Hi Jack, great to hear from you. I am sorry I do not know if SSE will run on Windows 11. I think it will but I cannot guarantee this. Best of luck, I think I would give it a try anyway.

Well it runs with no issue, although the OS did recommend about running it in compatibility mode. Even though the game runs smoothly, the graphics are a bit off that you see black lines and some black or dark shapes appearing but it doesn't seem to affect the game performance. Framerates according to MSI Afterburner shows the game running between 20-29 at mid-settings in 720p resolution, though it seems to run like 35-45ish. The system runs the game better than my last AMD FX-7500 powered device and the i3-3120M system before that.
