Running Nautis Home on Linux by using Wine.
« on: October 28, 2019, 14:40:00 »

It would be a good idea to test Nautis Home under Linux by using Wine, in combination with its frontends PlayOnLinux or Lutris. Wine is a compatibility layer for running Windows software, especially games, under Linux. If Vstep is reluctant to develop a Linux version of Nautis Home, we will be forced to use Wine for running Nautis Home under Linux.

Keep in mind that Nautis Home will probably rely on DirectX 11 or DirectX 12. To play Nautis Home under Linux by using Wine, I think you must install Vulkan. I don't know how to do this exactly, but there are many guides online with instructions about installing Vulkan on Linux. You can use Winetricks to tailor your Wineprefix in which you will have installed Nautis Home.
