As promised at the launch of the SS06 Add-On Pack, we are now offering add-on customers the option to upgrade the six vessels of the Add-On Pack 2006 to SS08 for free.
This upgrade does not contain any missions yet, these will be added to the Mission Download system later.
The new vessels and the new environment of the "Ship Simulator 2008 Add-On: New Horizons" Product (pushboat + barges, modern harbour tug, Padstow Cornwall) will be offered as single-vessel and single-envionment add-ons in April.
How to obtain a free Ship Simulator 2008 Add-On License Key:
1. Connect to the Ship Simulator forum by clicking the following link
http://forum.shipsim.com2. If you don't yet have a forum profile with registered license keys, click the Register button to create your personal forum account. After registering and activating your account you can login. (You can login immediately if you are already a member on this forum)
3. After logging in, click the "Profile" button in the top menu bar on the forum.
4. In the center of this page you can see a "License key registration" text. Please enter your Ship Simulator 2006 Add-On and Ship Simulator 2008 license key.
5. Click the button "Get your free Ship Simulator 2008 Add-On License Key"
6. Your personal Ship Simulator 2008 Add-On license key will now appear and also a download link to the Ship Simulator Add-On 2008.
