BREAKING :
The South African President, Jacob Zuma, has announced the passing of Nelson Mandela at the age of 95.
Mr Mandela had been increasingly unwell in recent years, and had been receiving "intensive" medical care at his home for a recurring lung infection.
Mr Mandela is most well known for fighting the apartheid, and becoming South Africa's first black president. He has also won the Nobel Peace Prize for his work.
Flags across South Africa will be flying at half mast until after the state funeral has taken place.
