Ship Simulator Extremes Collection
« on: November 19, 2013, 06:19:55 »

Is SSE Collection version better that SSE regular version? Is it more realistic with better detail and are there more ports in the collection version? I just want to see if it is worth the money to upgrade to SSE Collection version?

SSE collection is no different than the original game in terms of realism and detail. It is merely the original game with all the added DLCs, but excluding the latest Inland Shipping DLC. If you have updated to the latest version AND installed all the available DLCs then there is no point in buying the SSE Collection as you already have it!!!!!

Traddles,  you mean updated to version 1.5.5? I don't have the Ferry Pack, Inland Shipping, Sigita or Deniz Zoga DLC. Is it worth getting those 4 DLC?

If you are like me, then yes it is worth getting all the DLCs. That is a decision you must make yourself though.
You do not mention the two FREE DLCs, the "Zilvermeeuw" Customs launch and the "Aquila" pilot launch, nor do you mention the "Oceana" and "Winner" DLCs. There really is quite a lot to choose from, or buy them all.
To get every thing available you could buy the Collection and the Inland shipping DLC. I'm not certain how the price would work out, nor do I know if you have the Steam version of the game or the version direct from Vstep. Prices differ depending which version you have.

I do have the free DLCs and the Oceana and Winner DLCs. Just not the ones that I mentioned. I have the VSTEP version not the Steam version. So basically if I bought the other DLCs it comes to almost the same price as The Collection. but I would have to pay $10.99 for Inland shipping. So that would be $38.99 plus $10.99 comes to about $50. It might just be better to buy the DLCs separately. Not sure.

it would actually cost me $43 to get the 4 DLCs that I don't have. I think that would be better than paying $38.99 for collection and $10.99 for Inland shipping DLC for a cost of $50....

I fully agree with that. No point in wasting money if not needed.
