I'm just going to run this up the flagpole, see if it'll fly..

In short, I wonder how people think up their nicknames. Sometimes I see names and wonder: why did he/she pick that name..?
As for me, when I first joined the forum, I was thinking of ships, the sea, and then that song by Procul Harum drifted into my head.. I was surprised the name wasn't taken..
So, if you feel like sharing your reason for your nickname, feel free..

You may already know why I chose mine, but here goes

I started doing my own music mixes in 2002, I decided on my nickname after watching the first Matrix film. In 2003, I started making my own music videos, and the name was transferred to those too

Anyway, that's me

Mine's simple..

I'm Fred, and I've got a screw loose... But only in a fun way though

Though I did not pick it myself. My flightsim mates did. It kinda stuck after they all agreed I was nuts, based upon my somewhat uhm.. unconventional maneuvering in dogfights.

unconventionel, but even so, pretty effective, I should add..

I used to have a Honda CB-250RS (many moons ago

), left it standing in the garden for 18 months, kicked it over and it started straight away......great bike (in it's day)

Talking about bikes, I'm a bmw guy so far, my first one was an old R50, then a few years later an even older R67 with sidecar..went all through Europe on holidays with that..

Unfortunately it was smashed by a streetracing idiot..Now I get around on my old moped, a Puch VZ50 Skymaster, great fun..

I'm a doctor in real life and a sim fanatic too.

As for bikes, I currently own, ride and occasionally race my Ducati 999

, great bike and a dedicated Ducati-lover myself (had a Multistrada for 4 years before the 999).
