Hi,
The game impresses me mainly because of the realistic movements of the ships on the sea.
I would like to have more Camera options and of course some recording ability. But my impressions of SSE are for most part good.
Virtual reality must reflect the envoiriment in a believable manner and for my two cents worth it does.
Very relaxing too. Another important function !! Great for the blood pressure.
Graphics-wise it is up there with some of the best, Does requiring a good GPU, and so it should.
Frame rates are more than acceptable with the "proper" CPU.
Sure one needs a "fast" computer and be aware of updates...But that too is not difficult.
So over all I am finding the game quite fun but do wish for a developers kit  :(

That's true... the movements of the ship are very realistic and the add of the lights after the last update is marvelous.  :captain: :captain:

I think it's an amazing simulator. Nevertheless I miss the posibility to use ropes and anchor-chains to move ships without using main engine when approaching or leaving the berth. I miss other sceneries such as the Strait of Gibraltar where you have up to five ports in less that 60 miles.

I also wonder if a vessel at anchor is submitted to the action of the wind, because I haven't noticed that ships moves their bows to the wind when at anchor

Kind regards

I should agree with the Strait of Gibraltar.... I think that Panama, Suez and Gibraltar would look great in the game!  :2thumbs:

Realistic movement at sea ? are you kidding me ?

This game is far from being called realistic in basicly every aspect which a simulator should have, including movement.
