If that's just north of the Marine Research Institute - correct!

I presume that red ship is a kid's playground piece or something.  Can you confirm that, or perhaps show a picture?

Anyone else found some interesting places that may not be well known?

That is the real Calshot Spit light vessel, preserved as a historical object. In Liverpool we have the old Bar lightship preserved in a similar fashion. If you have SSE you can also see such a preserved vessel in the yacht marina in Hamburg. Pictures taken on Google earth street view. Hamburg picture taken in Ship Simulator Extremes.
