my computer stats are as follows
pentinum(R) 4 cpu 2.80 ghz, 2.79 ghz, 504 mb of ram
that's my stats is that enough to buy ship simulator 2008
i need a reply a.s.a.p as i am going to buy game if my computer works and its a dell dimesobn 5100.

I have Pentium 4 (2.53 Ghz) 1GB Ram, 256mb 7600GS Nvidea. Works good with full graphics on my 19" monitor.
You might be short on ram I guess..

You just need to add some extra ram in your pc. Not very expensive though. What is your graphic card?
I admit this game got some high pc requirements, but for shiplovers....
... It's worth it!

you can find your graphic card by:
Rightclick on your desktop --> Properties --> Setting Tab --> Advanced --> Monitor
The type of the card is displayed behind "Chip Type"

For the ram, just go to your local computer store and name the pc you have. The best is you buy 512mb of 1Gb ram extra.

Hey guys sorry havent posted back in ages im now running 1.5gb same settings but a bit faster. Will it matter if i dont have GEFORCE and maybe soon i will install one but not atm as DELL power packs blow up if you put to much ram etc.

Hi great infomation but Ship Simulator 2008 is not in the list. I also downloaded the demo i couldnt get the sea to load but then i realised first time on the game = high spec so i turned them 2 medium and it worked fine.

yes unfortunately shipsim is not on the list but if your pc will run fsx im sure shipsim will run with ease. hopefully lol

Never heard of a 224MB video card    Please run a dxdiag and attach it here.  I was able (barely) to run Ship Sim 2008 with 2X 128mb video cards in SLI mode.  I believe the minimum is suppose to be 256mb and even at 256 you'd run the risk of having some issues.  It's playable at 256mb but more is definatley better if you want to have things like wakes enabled on the graphics.

To get a dxdiag click start and run then type dxdiag and hit enter.  A window will pop up, once it has finished updating click save info and save it someplace you can get to it to attach here.
