Hi, i'm a neebie. There is other add-on and/or site out of the shipyard like Avsim or Flightsim for many version of Flight Simulator ? Or payware add-on like historical ocean liner (Queen Mary, Lusitania, Normandie, etc...).
Sorry for, maybe, the obviousness of the question.

Unfortunately the answer to your question is no.

Since there is no 3rd party addon creation for this game, there is also no place to download or purchase additional ships.

The game can only be expanded with the official addons.

I think a shipyard for custom vessels would be a great addition though but most players don't abide by copyright laws so it would be hard to keep under control I suppose.

Very true, but it would be a great opportunity to get new ships. I could see it working with a website that had a group of people who would test the ship in game, and approve have to approve it before it was available to the public.
