The Bulkcrane release
« on: May 30, 2013, 18:04:02 »

"Dear all,

First of all we would like to take you back to 2011, what a year! We have release 6 brand new DLC's and 4 big patches. Thousands of free gameplay hours have been added with the Mission Editor and there are still more beautiful missions to come, thanks to our Missions Editors!

Now for 2012! We know you have been waiting for some news about the future developments, well here it is! We can confirm that there are 2 brand new DLC's under construction at the moment. One of these DLC's will have the name "Bulkcrane DLC" and will have some great new gameplay features! These 2 DLC's will be released through out the year. We also have 2 other DLC's in mind, we are still doing some heavy research so we can not yet confirm those. As soon as we have some news, we will let you know!

Further more, there will be a Ship Simulator Extremes Collectors Edition. This Collecters Edition will have SSE + all DLC, great to attract new ShipSim fanatics. We have also decided to stop with the development of the CCC Environment Travemünde. It has proven to be to much work.

Let make it a great year on the virtual seas of Ship Simulator Extremes!

All the best!
The ShipSim Team "

This was posted by Swenson about a year ago, then after that post there were no more news about the Bulkcrane Dlc. So what happens with the crane Dlc?

It was released ages ago, did you miss it?    ::)

No it wasn't, bad joke..  It didnt make it yet. There's not much more to say about it, really. Really wish there was though.

At least one thing can be said and that is that one of the others is still on it's way.

Thank you for the answer. May they did not continiue with it, the respons was not the biggest(and I remember it was discussed ones before, to add Vsteps 'Bulkcrane simulator' to SSE and the interest was not the biggest that time either) or set on 'pause'. Just a guess.

I find it a bit sad that Vstep not choose to inform more about such subjects as this one. I think this has been one of the reason why also many seems to have left the forum.

You're welcome. Well it is based on a project for a company that actually is in that business. In a sense not unlike the Jumbo Javelin thing.

They of course didn´t just drop it, but priorities have changed, obviously. And it´s not that they wouldn´t want to have stuck to their plans. The silence is simply because there is nothing to report at this time. It does not necessarily mean that a project has been terminated, but yes, a little headshup would be nice to those that have eagerly awaited the follow-up on this.
