« on: October 07, 2007, 06:17:37 »

hey i went to computer fair and got the 1 gig of ram it runs great, but when i needed a graphics card they said the one im looking for is too old and they dont sell. i needed a PCI thats not express and is in the geforce 7 or 6 series but they had none so im asking if any of you could find me one and also could ship to australia, and maybe be around the price of $70 - $100 (AUS DOLLAR).

I was almost tempted to buy a 8600GT for E100 this weekend, but decided it wasn't that much of an upgrade to my 6800GT, that still works fine... :)

I am thinking of buying a 8800GT but I don't think my 400W power supply will handle it :'(
Off course I have been thinking of changing my power supply but I don't know if I am the right person to do that :D

Sparkle intends to distribute a fanless 8800GT version within the next few months?
Regards,
Luc
I mean, the thermal difference between a 7600GT and 8800GT will be relatively small, both being able to be cooled without fan. Your power supply ought to cope with it?
