Hong Kong pleasure boat sinking.
« on: October 02, 2012, 11:21:04 »

At http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-19797588 (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-19797588) and http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-19797585 (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-19797585) I read that in Hong Kong a passenger vessel sunk rapidly after a collision with an other vessel.

My thoughts are going to those who perished by this tragic accident.

Did this passenger vessel have a very poor damage stability that it sunk so rapidly?

It does have defense systems but i guess it depends on where the other ship hit it and at what speed the collision occurred.

My thoughts go out to those who did not make it. rest in peace.
