Hey i think this is meant to be in small talk but is DIMM in ram less efficient?
Then the other ones that dont have DIMM.
Cheers, Matt
You have SDRAM, DDR and DDR2. It’s the clock speed and amount which is important even if the difference between 1024 MB RAM or 2048 MB RAM can be small for the performance in the game. The clock speed can go from 66 Mhz up to 800 Mhz.
DDR or Dual Data Rate memory is by no means the oldest type of RAM available for sale nowadays.
DDR2 or Double Data Rate 2 memory is the most common type of memory used in current, modern PCs.
DDR3 or Double Data Rate 3 memory is the putatively faster new kid on the memory block.
PC3200/DDR400 is very popular and much used.
Anyway you must be sure that your mother board support it and it usually some info about this in the user manual for the motherboard (if your computer is not a pre-fabricated system which you didn’t build by yourself). It should stand in the user manual for the system anyway. The word DIMM doesn't have so much to say. Its SDRAM, DDR, DDR2 or DDR3 which makes sense
