Modern cargo windjammer
« on: July 06, 2012, 19:26:02 »

Found yesterday a concept of a modern cargo windjammer, with dynarig system that successfully proved itself on a yacht Maltese Falcon:

It says (http://segelreporter.com/blog/2012/02/17/geplanter-oeko-frachter-aus-holland-ecoliner-soll-mit-dyna-rigg-segeln/) they plan to launch such ship some when in 2013.   Will see!

Not to sound cliched, but what a long, strange, trip it's been.

Sails might get in the way of the orbit camera.

Yeah, the sails do often block the camera, it would be nice if you could raise/lower the sails manually.

Sails might get in the way of the orbit camera.
