Ship Sim 2008 1.4.2 Sinkable?

I was wonder how I can sink say the Titanic it said in the little book that came with the box Captains Secrets then said Press '~' but nothing pops up and I type sink on menu and Ingame and nothing happens! Please someone tell me if theres a Patch I need or an add-on of some kind im not using Steam since I dislike Steam a lot. Thanks in advance sorry if theres other topics about this I couldnt find 1 regarding my problem I have Please post here your help or PM me the answers thanks.

Hi Muky,If you want to sink ships I suggest you buy Silent Hunter series.

Indeed but if its not sinkable then why does the SS2008 Captains Journal book that came with the sink have Cheat codes saying you can Sink your Ship only thing Ive found out is the 'Duck' code works but nothing else any idea?

I heard that you have to do it a couple of times, Never tried it though as i enjoy SAILING ships instead of sending them to Davy Jones' locker

How though! Cos ~ doesnt open anything and when I type 'Sink' ingame it doesnt do anything! same with 'Fly' and other cmds..

ok.... I'll point out the vaguely obvious.

To sink a ship, you take your ship, find something bigger than the ship, open the throttles and watch as chaos unfolds.

Just bump anywhere except the shallow areas.Be sure to turn on damage first before playing Free Roaming.(Normally damage turned on.)

You can only hit the ~ key at the Main menu promise. :angel:> :captain: Not in gameplay.
