the dutch company Allseas is building the biggest ship and lifting ship in the world it is called the Pieter Schelte and is build in south-korea, it is  3 footballfields big and her length is 382M an her width 117M.

if it is released she can lift a drilling platform in 1 time that is very positive because it will take less time and increases the chance from leaks and damage.

the first plans were made in 1987 and that will cost 1,3billion euro

I had read somewhere a time ago about it yes, but there was no money for the project I though.
