Weird texture problem on the demo
« on: May 06, 2012, 14:05:38 »

I've just tried the demo to see if SSE will run on my PC and although the frame-rate is enough on low settings, there is something seriously wrong with the texture rendering. Ship Simulator 2008 works fine.

The specs of the computer are:
Windows XP
Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz
4GB RAM (only 3GB available on XP)
Nvidia 6800 GS (I going to upgrade this soon, probably to a GTX 550 Ti)

Hi Mako Shark,
The texture problem you show is due to the fact that your computer is not powerful enough to play the game. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Not surprised. I assume that would just be to the old graphics card?

Just checked the requirements and 8800GT is minimum so that would make sense. Guess I'll order a GTX 550TI then.
