I've got a great idea for vstep to add more Dutch environments in the game, such as the Braasemermeer, Westeinderplas, Vinkeveense plassen, Kagerplassen, Nieuwkoopse plassen, Ijsselmeer, Waddenzee and some rivers wich are connecting them, like: Rijn, Ringvaart and some other Rivers and canals in Holland. \
Some of these lakes and rivers are very famous by tourists when they rent a boat here...

Is there anyone else who likes this idea..?

There are more then enough boats in sse wich can fit in this environments...

You really see a business in that? I don't see myself sailing with the Orient star in those lakes..
Even if i'm dutch ( ;D) I don't think it is such a good idea. However Port of Amsterdam wouldn't be so bad to add. Especially with the locks.

But who am I. :-\

Adding Dutch lakes and rivers requires much more inland vessels. Vstep could release a special inland vessel add-on with the Dutch lakes and rivers.

Snakebyte that is a extreme example..... the orient star even fits hardly in the rotterdam environment.. haha...
There are more then enough vessels in the game you can sail in this environments:  ribs, pilot boat, mamba, cartagena delight, the busgier and the hercules, sigita, mare australe etc etc... Why not..? !:)
.....Vstep wake up, you're a Dutch company if you add some Dutch environments..... many people will be happy. 8)

I think it is a good idea for vstep to make more of their own country.....like above. !:)
We will see..

I know it's extreme example. But why do you think many people buy Ship simulator. Because of the experience with the big vessel.
Don't get me wrong. I really see your point. But I simpley think there is no market for it. And it's not so excited as playing on the big seas, and harbors.
However Vstep is Dutch, that shouldn't mean that the Dutch country should be nummer 1. It's world wide played. And as I said before, the Port of Amsterdam is the best choice than.

The Amsterdam Shipping Canal is a fascinating stretch of waterway; seeing large cruisers going over a road tunnel is quite a sight.

why not like this Rotterdam,Amsterdam and Scheveningen (its near Rotterdam) in 1 map ok its a little bit big but it would be a nice map 3 harbors in 1 map
rotterdam and Amsterdam are famous in the netherlands because they are big but Scheveningen is very famous because here fish (herring) it also one of the oldest fishing places in the Netherlands and we have the biggest fishing fleet from the Netherlands (maybe from Europe and Maybe from the world)
here some ships from the fleet

its also famous because Norfolk line started her first route in Scheveningen with the m/s de ruyter in 1985

Hi Michael,
I thought  you might like this picture. Not SSE but Sail Simulator 5 in Scheveningen. I like the Company name.
Picture taken in the place where the real ships berth.

Regards,
Angus.

I would be for it -- but lots of work , especially opening drawbridges, etc.

Lockage in Ijmuiden, or in Antwerp. This is just the challenge :)
