game download size?

hey guys new time player im thinking of purchasing the game but i was gonna download it cause im worried about it being shipped to australia. juz want to know if anyone knows how big the game is to download and how long it will take?

and for anyone in australia that has bought the game and got it shiped over was there any customs fees had to be payed?

The game is 649mb in size, the length of time it takes will depend on the speed of your internet conection ;)

To be honest, that would depend on personal preference really.  If you want the game almost immediately, I would download it, if you don't mind waiting for the postal company to deliver it, go for the boxed version :)

Unfortunately, I don't have any information on the shipping costs of the boxed version to the various countries.  As with most sales of boxed versions, I would imagine that you will be informed of any costs for postage, before you confirm purchase :)

I would personally get the download version because
1. It can't get scratched
2. You can back it up on a flash drive
3. Don't have to pay shipping costs
4. You can get the game installed faster

I would say that it mostly depends on the servers, tried yesterday and it was slower then it is to catch a fish in a fishless lake ;)

Still love to have that option though and thats how I got this game, bought the download version :)

my download only took 40 minutes when I got it. But it just came out and not many people were downloading it yet :p

Unfortunately, I have no specific details on the exact date, Pjotr did post something on this recently, but I can't remember in which topic he posted ::)

The game will be released in Canada and the U.S. in Q1 2008. VSTEP will maintain the rights for online distribution."
