The C130 does not have a radar dish on top, the E-2 Hawkeye does

ohhh okay. so i was at waterpolo practice and a jet flew over. it was medium size and had rear engines and a "T" tail. i did see 3 engine exhausts. so one engine was in the middle. It was at about 1000-1500 feet and was pulling up. The tail was purple with no airline on it.....i wish i got a picture but i was wet!

I'm not very sure but the plane you might be looking for looks something like this:

The're 67 of them still in service and fed ex uses them for cargo.

assassinator2.0,

What you could have seen were Dassault Falcon 50 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dassault_Falcon_50), 900 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dassault_Falcon_900), or 7X (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falcon_7X) private jets. They are tri-jets so they comply with your description of having 3 engines on the tail. The purple paint may have been the business jet's owner(s) decision as it is after all their plane.

However, the tail is more of a lower case 't' tail rather than a 'T' tail.

This is the Dassault Falcon 7X. You can see the undercarriage from this angle.

This is the Dassault Falcon 50. The tail shape and 2 of the 3 engines are clearly visible. I'm guessing that you can imagine where the 3rd one would be.  ;)

Some pictures taken a last week by myself and a friend of mine who waited for his cousin arriving from Germany.:
He's a good friend of mine so i didnt want him to be disappointed with my absence.

(the following pictures are random planes that arrived at the airport) (and yes i am standing on a high building)
My friend's cousin arrived in a Lufthansa.

(sorry i couldnt take that many pictures-these were the only ones i could find-if i find more i will post them here)
