Part of our House Falls in!
« on: August 09, 2011, 09:57:30 »

At 4:20AM not long ago, I was woken up to the sound of a ceiling falling in another room. My Family member just woke up to get something to drink and the ceiling fell behind her. :o  It has my entire family shaken up about our house. :(
EDIT: Here is the collapsed ceiling:

Below that wreckage was the bed.

We are actually calling it Shoddy Construction with what I know of the house:
The Previous Home owners living here before us had to get full house repairs due to a Tree falling on the house where my room is (The Picture is not my room as it was on the opposite side of the house) and the ceiling was crushed in all rooms except part of the above mentioned room. The ceiling was repaired and when we moved in, the room's ceiling was bent. After the fall of the ceiling, we saw the entire ceiling cave and saw what looks like the original ceiling.
Whoever repaired the ceiling forgot to remove the old ceiling in this room.

That's why, unlike the "cardboard America", here walls are made of bricks & floors of armored concrete, besides there are no tornadoes here as there's nothing light for them to lift to skies.
