Lattitude doesn't move
« on: July 15, 2011, 17:22:01 »

Lattitude is one of my all-time favorites but now in SSE the vessel does not move at all. :sleepy: Makes me kind of tired waiting for it to move.
 Can someone help?

A strong possibility is that she is hard aground. ::)  Do you get this problem in free roaming or in a mission? I suspect that you are in free roaming and have placed the ship in insufficient water. Ships have a habit of becoming static if they are aground.

Hi Dexter,

Latitude is a pig. She is very slow to start moving, and does not produce a propeller wash or noticeable wake when starting.
Give her full power and wait a couple of minutes. Watch her speed on the conning circle. If she is not up to about 2 knots after that time, then you may have a problem.
If you have a very high sea state so that her propeller spends some of the time out of the water, it could take a lot longer.
She does not stop all that swiftly either. Don’t point her at anything you don’t want to hit.

Regards,
Marty
