Vacation Destination?
« on: July 05, 2011, 13:51:13 »

Just a question
Is anyone still going on vacation to another country here?
I'm going to St Maarten on july 16 or 19 for 9 days

Anyone else going somewhere else??

I presently wake up in anew country every morning, I call Spain home even though I am not Spanish and when I go on 'holiday' I normally go to England to visit my kids who still live there and freinds that I made while I lived there, even though I am not English.

The idea of a 'foreign' holiday doesn't really appeal to me anymore.

OD, I still wake up some mornings and have to pinch myself to make sure that it is all real!

I have a job that I enjoy, I live in a place that I love, I have freinds that I can rely on, I have family who love me and many years ago someone discovered how to ferment grape juice.

Hehe, nope.. the balconian highlands are actually stuck to the house..  ::)

I am not going anywhere this summer, saving up all that I can for some nice new photogear I have my eye on, so I am skipping a 'real' vacation, I'm not much of a going-away-on-holiday kinda person anyway unless it's off the beaten track.

But I think I'll spend quite some time on the balcony though, in the sun..   :P

I know.. very lame pun. I couldn't help myself.

Also here in Holland of coarse.

Hope that's the one who's flying the plane you are going on.

the pilots of curacao are one of the best
Most of them flew old airliners in curacao that went bankrupt in the mid 90's and early 2000
Since then those pilots where flying here...and none ever had a accident with those planes ;)
