However I can recommand you to check the precision controls box in the options, that will help a lot for azipod.
In fact azipods are, instead of engines with fixed propellers and rudders for the direction, rotating propellers with a 360 degrees angle.
So if you turn the propellers left, it is normal that the ship will steer to the right.
