Black screen

Yeah i originally got the game on my family pc. i got a laptop and uploaded it fine . it ran but a little slow since i had a few big games. i uninstalled and installed agianand now when it goes past the first loading and then the window pulls up and it shows the code and online comunity on bottom right croner and the rest is a black screen any ideas?

Hello Bman,

Please post your Dxdiag. There is a possibility that your laptop specs are not in sync with the System Requirements of SSE. Please follow instructions as in the link below.

Hello Bman,

Your laptop's configuration is not suitable for SSE as:-
- the clock speed of your processor is only 2.3 Ghz. SSE requires 3 Ghz.
- it also does not have an independent graphics card but "on board" video. SSE requires a "stand alone" graphics
  card.

These two drawbacks will not allow SSE to open on your laptop.

Please see the attachment for System Requirements of SSE.

You have to consult the HP dealer for this and figure if your laptop can accept a processor of 3.0 Ghz and also if it has the scope for installing a stand alone graphics card (as per the Sys Reqmnts of SSE)

Generally speaking, laptops are not really meant for graphic intense gaming as the heat build up may reduce the longevity.
